I don’t personally know Rihanna’s beliefs but I think there’s a very dark and very sinister part of the entertainment business and I think it’s very visible,” he said. “This is something that a lot of people don’t look at [but for example] Michael Jackson used to be a Jehovah’s Witness and I remember hearing that he wanted to separate from the religion — and this was during the time that he was doing ‘Thriller’ [which ended up being] his biggest album.”

I don’t know if Rihanna [has fallen victim to those pressures]. I’ve never really heard her speak about it. I hope that she doesn’t believe in that stuff and I don’t think that she does, but I don’t know. It’s not just been a Rihanna thing, [there's has been religious speculation] about a lot of artists.

The opening night of the Yas Marina concerts was a bootylicious affair indeed. Set in the shell of the half-finished Ferrari World, the venue looked spectacular – more like a recreation of the Bladerunner backdrop than a concert venue. The sound, too, was surprisingly good, with any unwanted echo – the curse of vast aerodromes like this one – kept to a minimum. Only the dusty floor and outdoor heat proved difficult.


Beyonce took the stage 25 minutes late, by which point some of the audience had started to turn nasty. Loud boos filled the front of the arena, and, to the side of this reviewer, the heat overwhelmed a couple of fainters and a small fight erupted. Not the kind of atmosphere you might expect at a family-friendly pop concert, but almost understandable after an hour and a half packed in like sweaty sardines.

Grammy award winning singer LeToya Luckett has joined forces with Ludacris to shoot the video for her hit single "Regret". The song which is currently in the Top 5 on the R&B chart was directed by Parris. Ludacris plays LeToya's new love interest while the male model who was the boyfriend in the "She Ain't Got.." video is back, but this time as the ex with regrets.

In other LeToya news this email below claiming to be written by a Music World Entertainment employee has been making it's rounds on the internet.

"I am just pissed off with this shady business and I've been closer to God lately so I feel I have to throw this out there. I'm going to give you a little more of my experience. So...Mathew is in a perpetual fight. I don't understand what he's trying to prove but I guess that's what keeps his life exciting. You think he would have moved on by now but on the contrary, he's totally obsessed with this LeToya Luckett girl. Wasting time making sure radio stations don't play her songs, and particularly right now making sure "Regret" doesn't get any bigger than it already is.

I absolutely don't understand why he thinks her success would overshadow Beyonce's/ Beyonce is aware of what's going on but she's not saying anything to stop her dad. I told her to say something but she said to me " I trust my dad". Anyway, look at the Urban radio charts, LeToya is #5. That's a pretty good number but you can notice that the most important radio stations aren't playing it. Thanks to who? You guessed it right. Rumors you've probably heard before are true. Mathew is paying these stations' music directors to boycoott her. these expenses are covered up as a trip to go see Beyonce's tour for review. What's nice is that these stations' music directors can pick two to three dates anywhere in the world and travel for free. Mathew of course pays for travel expenses as well as $850 "courtesy checks" for.... meals.

The funny part is some of them just get the free vacation and don't bother showing up at Beyonce's concert. ____ was not hard to convince thanks to their ties with JAy-Z. It was a little harder to convince ___ and ____ (asking for bigger courtesy checks) but in the end they accepted the offer. Thumbs up go to KMEL who almost spit at my face and refused to collaborate.

I'm putting this to light because I'm tired of this payola bullshit. You might find all of this outrageous but these are common practices in the music industry... and this is only the tip of the iceberg."

Beyonce and husband Jay-z dine on Italian fare at Nello’s restaurant with an older couple on the Upper East Side of New York City on Monday (October 26).
The high-rollers dropped a massive $1,200 on lunch, which included white truffles, lobster salad and a bottle of Dom Perignion champagne. To show their appreciation for the great service, Beyonce and Jay-Z left a hefty $500 tip. I guess now their flaunting their money huh. Now think about that when you eating McDonalds.

Michelle Williams IN A CAR ACCIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Former DESTINY'S CHILD singer MICHELLE WILLIAMS was involved in a minor traffic accident on Tuesday (27Oct09) when she clipped the side of a bus.
The R&B star was in her native Chicago, Illinois when she damaged her car in the morning accident.
She writes on her Twitter.com page, "I hit a bus and have 2 (sic) get my side mirror fixed."
No injuries were reported in the incident.

lthough details are still scarce about just what Beyoncé and Lady Gaga will be doing to in the clip for B's song "Video Phone," Gaga did talk about the clip in a new interview.

When I was doing her video with her, she called me and she said, 'What do you want to do?' " Gaga explained in an interview with New York's Z100 radio station on Tuesday morning (October 27). "And I'm like, 'I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.' I said, 'I want to do you.' "

In a photo that emerged from the video shoot, Gaga was seen wearing a white strapless leotard with matching opera gloves, and her long hair is loose and flowing — the look is definitely more Beyoncé than Gaga. In fact, Gaga even scored a new nickname while on set. "I want to do my version of Beyoncé," she said. "So the whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé."

As if fans weren't psyched enough about the video, Gaga did say that she and Beyoncé are working on music together. No additional details were given, however.

"We did collaborate recently," she said, referencing the "Video Phone" video, adding, "And we are collaborating on my album, as well." It was unclear whether Gaga was referring to the forthcoming expanded edition of her debut LP, The Fame: Monster, or her still-in-the-works second album.

Pau Gasol To Be A Guest Star On CSI: Miami

You would think that CSI: Miami would pick Dwyane Wade to guest star on an episode of the show, but no. The producers have tabbed LA Laker Pau Gasol as a suspect for an episode that will air next month. From With Leather via the AP....

Spanish national basketball team player and LA Lakers star Pau Gasol says he recently completed filming a guest appearance on the hit US crime drama "CSI: Miami" in an interview published Sunday.

"It was a very attractive opportunity. I play Victor, a normal person who is involved in a car accident and police are suspicious that I am responsible for what happened. I have good, meaty dialogue with an officer," he told daily newspaper El Pais.

The episode will air on the CBS network in the United States next month. It will be one of the first episodes of the ninth season of the series about a team of South Florida forensic experts who probe mysterious or unusual deaths.

"I have always had the acting bug inside me. What this city gives me are opportunities. I'm in the best team in the league, I'm one of the best franchises and this is the city where it happens all the movies," he said.

This isn't the first time Gasol has made it onto a CBS show. Last year, he was on an episode of Numb3rs with teammate Jordan Farmar. As far as CSI: Miami is concerned, all I have to say is YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!

Jay-Z And Alicia Keys Performing Before Game One Of The World Series

It's been since 2003 since the Yankees made an appearance in the World Series, so it comes as no surprise that they're breaking out all the stops for this year's Fall Classic. Before game one there will actually be a concert, and Jay-Z and Alicia Keys are scheduled to appear. Via NY Daily News....

The Yankees will get Empire State-size support from two of the music world's biggest stars.

Hip-hop mogul and Bombers booster Jay-Z will perform his hit "Empire State of Mind" just before the Yanks take on the Phillies in Game 1 of the World Series on Wednesday.

The Brooklyn native will join fellow New Yorker Alicia Keys in singing the rap anthem blasted at Yankee Stadium during the Bombers' postseason run.

"Thank the good Lord for making me a Yankee," Jay-Z said Monday, invoking the famous quote by Yankee legend Joe DiMaggio.

I'm a bit sick of that song, but it's about NYC and has been Jeter's entrance theme for awhile now, so it makes sense. Maybe the Phillies can get Pearl Jam to walk over to Citizen's Bank before the start of game three.

The NBA Season officially tips off tonight with a set of four games, two of which will air on TNT. One great Eastern Conference matchup starts the night, then is followed by a matchup that was supposed to be Kobe versus rookie Blake Griffin. Al-Quaeda After Beyonce!

The Muslim Brotherhood In Egypt is a political organization that once included Sayyid Qutb, the man who inspired Al-Qaeda. It was founded to promote Islamic law, oppress women etc. And now it wants to keep Beyonce out of Egypt!

Knowles is scheduled to perform her first ever concert in the land of fezes, camels carpets, pyramids and other obvious, slightly condescending cliches on November 6. Tickets for the show, at the Red Sea resort of Port Ghalib, are going for up to $400, according to a report on Al Arabiya.

But straight outta Cairo, a crazy Islamist MP named Hamdi Hassan, from a gang called The Muslim Brotherhood In Egypt, said he did not want no ho who appears nekkid in no goddamned videos up in his motherfucking hood. (I can't speak Arabic, so I'm choosing to assume this is the way he originally phrased it.) He wants regulators to mount up and get her permission to perform revoked.

"The government is trying to make people indulge in sin and licentiousness to cover up the other crimes it is committing against them," said Hassan in parliament, once again proving that the word 'licentiousness' is only used in such circumstances.

The Brotherhood is under pressure from that government. And various old-school religious nutjobs are fighting with hip, young religious nutjobs within its ranks. So this is seen as a way of making a statement and reminding people that hijabs are good, and booty-shaking is bad.

Last year another spittle-flecked crackpot in Egypt, a cleric called Khaled al-Gindi, likened Shakira to a prostitute and demanded she be banned. But added that he thought she was probably a "nice person." Which makes it all OK because everyone likes a hooker with a heart of gold.

Email: Beyonce and Kelly NOT TALKING AT ALL!

I worked within the MWE camp and now I am working with Kelly Rowland on her up and coming album. I am part of her team driving things through. I think some fans might be under the wrong impression of Beyonce and Kelly's relationship. Yes they were "sisters", they grew up together, they were friends and they formed the biggest girl group of all time. However, that is now where their friendship ends. When Kelly left MWE management, so did her friendship with Solange and Beyonce. Solange was already warring with Kelly over music that was being distributed. Solange did not like the direction Kelly was going in and Kelly had got past caring. Things escalated with Mathew Knowles and Kelly decided to leave for pastures new where she thought she would get more attention and pushed better as an artist. As soon as this happened Kelly just became another LeToya and LaTavia to Beyonce. Her purpose was finished.
Beyonce has not contacted Kelly for weeks .... their relationship has broken down and Kelly is also past caring what Beyonce thinks. We wont even entertain false meet up to keep their DC image going. You wont be seeing a reunion anytime soon. Kelly is about to show the world what she can do without Mathew and none of the Knowles are going to like it. Forget Sasha Fierce... Kelly changing up her image!

This is from the reliable source who told me of Kelly's departure a month before anyone else knew. I have to ask myself...when was the last time I saw Kelly with Beyonce????? Kelly's Bday.... I hope Kelly does switch up her style and give everyone something to talk about. Everyone trying  to be a Superhero right now... she needs to flip the game.

Michelle Williams get shoes stolen!

R&B singer MICHELLE WILLIAMS has blasted a top courier service after company bosses failed to recover a piece of her missing luggage.

The former Destiny's Child star had one of her bags misplaced after flying back to her native U.S. from London, where she had been performing in West End play Chicago.

International courier firm DHL was allegedly responsible for returning the luggage to her, but Williams claims she is still waiting for her bag to be sent back - and she's losing hope of finding her belongings, including her designer shoes, in one piece.

In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "Thanks 2 DHL 4 (sic) finding my bag... NOT! Someone n (in) England is tippin (walking) in my Jimmy Choos as we speak! Time 4 (sic) new ones I guess!

You Are No Bill Walker, Mark Sanchez

There's something about eating a tub of popcorn on the bench during a Basketball game that will never be topped. However, Mark Sanchez did his best to challenge, then Kansas State forward, Bill Walker in that regard. With the Jets running all over the Raiders, the golden boy grabbed himself a dog, and went to town. Via

Kelly Rowland going to EMI?

Kelly Rowland has been in talks with EMI about releasing a new record in 2010.

The ex-Destiny's Child star split with manager Mathew Knowles in January and was dropped by Columbia Records in March.

However, Angry Ape quotes singer-producer Rico Love as saying: "She's in the process of closing a pretty big deal. I believe she's doing her deal right now.

"I don't think she's going to say yet. She's got the number one song in the world with David Guetta [called] 'When Love Takes Over'."

Love added: "I'm actually going to be doing the majority of her record. I believe we're going to finish the album over the Christmas break."

Beyonce and Lady Gaga

Upon receiving Lady GaGa's help for "Video Phone" music video, Beyonce Knowles will return the favor by lending her vocal to the dance queen's new song "Telephone". Breaking the news to public is Lady-Gaga.net which claims the information is obtained from an insider in Universal Music Group. Beyonce and Lady GaGa filmed "Video Phone" earlier this month and kept the video shoot hush-hush. However, a source managed to spill the beans on the wardrobe they were wearing.
Lady GaGa Beyonce reportedly donned "a feathered dress" and Lady GaGa wore "something wild". Premiere date for the video is yet to be disclosed. Words are, the song featured in the video will be a remix with the addition of Lady GaGa's vocal. "Telephone" is one of the new materials appearing in Lady GaGa's "The Fame: Monster" which is due for November 23 U.S. release, while "Video Phone" is one of Beyonce Knowles' singles in her 2008 effort "I Am...Sasha Fierce".

Steve Phillips Has Been Fired From ESPN

Well it took the weekend for a decision, but late Sunday night, ESPN officially fired Steve Phillips citing his inability to be an effective representative for the network. VP Mike Soltys has the announcement on his Twitter page....

I really hope they didn't feel pressure from Deadspin's stunt near the end of last week, but there was really no other choice for the "Leader". You would think this line of reasoning would be used more often by ESPN. (More tomorrow when the full release comes out)

Video: Bob Griese Enjoys Mexican Stereotypes

By now everyone has heard that Bob Griese made a pretty racist statement yesterday, when he suggested Juan Pablo Montoya was out of the Top Five because "he was out having a taco." Well late yesterday evening he issued an apology through ESPN. Here's the video and the apology.

Please do NOT use that other site anymore. I had teamed up with another known DC site and they gave me the wordpress for free. However, it was so complicated and I dont have time for messing around. Blogger is quick and easy for me to use.... and believe it or not...easier for you aswell.

The person who gave me the wordpress site basically pissed me off...whilst I was in Hospital they changed things on my site without permission and yesterday they even edited one of my posts.
