Sarah Palin: Korea ... North or South ... Who Cares?
"During an appearance on Glenn Beck's radio show Wednesday, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin said North Korea is an American ally. She made the gaffe after Beck asked her opinion about North Korea's attack this week against a South Korean island.
"This speaks to a bigger picture here that certainly scares me in terms of our national security policy. But obviously, gotta stand with our North Korean allies, we're bound to by treaties," she said before Beck interrupted her.
"South Korean allies," he said.
"Yeah," she said, continuing on with her answer saying, "We're also bound by prudence to stand with our South Korean allies."

'Enterprise Saskatchewan' Is Modeled On 'Enterprise Ireland'
Conceived by Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall, the agency is loosely modelled on Enterprise Ireland, which is that country’s government agency responsible for development and promotion of its business sector. It was founded in 1998 to help capitalize on and sustain Ireland’s remarkable economic expansion, which led to it being referred to as the “Celtic Tiger".

It is truly unfortunate that the Regina Leader-Post, The Saskatoon Star Phoenix, The Moose Jaw Times Herald, the Prince Albert Herald, CBC Saskatchewan and CTV Saskatchewan WILL NOT ask Premier Wall some hard questions in view of what is happening in Ireland.
Failure Of The Irish Economy Further Proves The Flaw In Brad Wall's 'Unfettered Free Market' Ideology

Brad Wall's Saskatchewan Party based much of its financial policy on what was perceived to be the 'success' of Ireland ... the Celtic Tiger. While in Opposition, the Saskatchewan Party praised the tax cuts, massive spending and business subsidies that have now crippled the Irish economy.
For the record, you don't hear Brad Wall or any of his Ministers singing the praises of the 'Celtic Tiger' recently ...

darren fletcher football players
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For the retired American baseball player, see Darrin Fletcher
Darren Barr Fletcher (born 1 February 1984, Dalkeith, Scotland) is a Scottish footballer who plays for English Premier League club Manchester United. He is a product of United's youth academy. He usually plays in central midfield but has played or right midfield or to provide cover for the defence. The industrious player also captained the Scotland national team in the absence of then regular captain Barry Ferguson, making Fletcher one of the youngest players ever to captain Scotland at full international level. With Ferguson banned from international football after a breach of regulations, Fletcher was given the captain's armband in August 2009.[2][3]
lub career
[edit]Early career
Fletcher has been at Manchester United for his whole career coming up from the youth team. He joined Manchester United as a trainee in July 2000 and he signed a professional contract in February 2001. He was initially seen as a right midfielder in the David Beckham mould and was tipped by many to break into the first team with ease and stay there for many years to come.[4] However, his first few seasons at the club were marred by injury, and as he developed came to be viewed more as a central midfielder.
[edit]2003–04 season
Fletcher broke into the Manchester United team during the 2003–04 campaign, playing a number of important matches and starting in United's 2004 FA Cup Final win over Millwall in May 2004.[5]
[edit]2004–05 season
Despite a slow start to the 2004–05 campaign, in which in the early part of the season he made very few competitive appearances, Fletcher again broke into the United first team. On 1 January 2005, Fletcher scored his first goal at club level in a 2–0 win over Middlesbrough.[6]
[edit]2005–06 season
Fletcher was one of the players singled out for criticism by club captain Roy Keane in the wake of United's 4–1 defeat to Middlesbrough in October 2005.[7] Keane reportedly said, "I can't understand why people in Scotland rave about Darren Fletcher." However, Keane later attempted to set the record straight stating, "If you listen to any of my comments over the last two or three years, if I've given any player credit over the years it would be Fletch. Fletch will tell you that himself."[8] Fletcher went some way towards answering his critics on 6 November 2005, with his performance in the vital league match at home to Chelsea, scoring the only goal of the game with a looping header.[9] His winning goal ended Chelsea's 40-match unbeaten run in the Premier League.[9]
[edit]2006–07 season
In 2006–07, at the start of the season he retained a place in the first team but only on the bench and scored in an away win over Charlton Athletic, as well as scoring the headed winner in the away game with Middlesbrough in December and another headed goal in the home win against Charlton in February, making it a double against the club that season. As the season progressed, Alex Ferguson preferred the midfield quartet of Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Michael Carrick and Ryan Giggs, limiting Fletcher to a few substitute appearances. However, with Scholes absent through suspension, he made a starring appearance in United's 7–1 win over Roma in the Champions League quarter-final.
[edit]2007–08 season
In the 2007–08 season, with the further arrival at the club of fellow central midfielders Owen Hargreaves and Anderson and winger Nani, Fletcher played even less than he did during the previous season. As before, Ferguson preferred Carrick, Scholes, Giggs and Ronaldo to him in midfield, and got even less playing-time than the new arrivals. He did, however, put in some stalwart performances when given the chance, including two goals in the 4–0 defeat of Arsenal at Old Tra

Senator Al Frankens Response to my letter concerning S.510 (Food safety modernization act)
Could S.510 be the end of backyard gardening and small farms? Could this bill be one of the most dangerous bills in the history of the U.S. The food safety modernization act (S.510) could limit the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport and share food if accepted. Sounds a little harsh right? WRONG.
Recently, I sent Al Franken a letter expressing my concern about S.510. I received a reply and thought I would share it with you.
Here it is:
Dear Jon,
Thank you for contacting me about food safety. I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with me on this important issue.
While the U.S. food supply is one of the safest in the world, public health officials estimate that each year millions of people (including thousands of Minnesotans) become sick -- and thousands more die -- from foodborne illnesses. The current system relies too heavily on reacting to outbreaks after they have occurred, instead of preventing their occurrence in the first place. There's a lot of room for improvement.
That's why I introduced the Food Safety Enforcement Act. This bill would increase the sentences that prosecutors can seek for people who knowingly contaminate the nation's food supply and endanger Americans' lives. Companies that knowingly sell contaminated or unsafe food need to face serious consequences. In 2009, three Minnesotans died from contaminated peanut butter. Anyone who puts profits before safety is a criminal and needs to be prosecuted as such.
Minnesota is regarded as the national leader in early detection of foodborne diseases, and we have a long record of working effectively with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on food safety. However, the FDA does not currently have all the tools it needs to ensure the safety of our food. S. 510, the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act, builds on what works in Minnesota and would address many of these inadequacies. Overall, this bill would improve the safety and security of our food and enhance our foodborne illness surveillance systems.
While safety is of critical importance, it is equally important that Minnesotans are still able to go to their neighborhood farms and farmers' markets to purchase food directly from producers. As a member of the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP), I worked with Senator Merkley from Oregon to include provisions in S. 510 that ensure small farms and organic farmers would not be overburdened by this legislation. These changes ensure that small farms and markets would be exempt from any additional and duplicative food safety record keeping requirements under the bill.
On December 18, 2009, S. 510 was reported favorably out of the HELP Committee. As a member of this committee, I was proud to vote for it. The bill is now expected to come before the full Senate in the near future. As Congress finalizes food safety legislation, I will continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to ensure that any legislation will bring safer food to all Minnesotans.
Thank you again for contacting me, and I look forward to hearing from you in the future on this or any other matter of concern to you.
Sincerely,
Signature
Al Franken
United States Senator
There you have it. Al Franken supports S.510 and claims provisions have been made which protect small orgaic farms.
Everyone, please email your local senators concerning S.510. Let's make sure provisions have been added to the bill so it actually protects our food. The government will do whatever they want if people do not speak up.
York Minster, England
Wonder: York Minster
Country: England
Region: York
Visitable: Yes
About:
York Minster is the greater Gothic Cathedral to the north of Europe, built on a cult place that combines Roman, Vikings and Medieval reminiscences.
Wonder type: National Wonder
York Minster location
York Minster is the biggest Gothic Cathedral in York, Northern Europe with 160m long and 76m wide. It is the seat of the Archbishop of York and Cathedral for the Diocese of York. It is formally title as The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St. Peter in York.
The cathedral was built between the 12th and the 15th century, the Foundations Museum under the Minster shows how the present building was constructed on the site of a Norman Cathedral which was it built on a Roman Fort. Two million people visit York Minster every year, tourists or pilgrims.
The stained glass window on the East Front is as big as a tennis court – the biggest expanse of medieval stained glass in the world. In the north transept is the Five Sisters Window, each lancet being over 16m high. The south transept contains the famous Rose window.
History
Since 300s, York has had a Christian presence. The first church was a wooden structure, built in 627 to provide a place to baptism Edwin, King of Northumbria. Around 637 a stone structure was completed by Oswald and dedicated to Saint Peter, but soon fell into disrepair and was dilapidated by 670.

In 741, the church was destroyed in a fire, but rebuilt with a more impressive structure containing thirty altars. After that the church and the entire area passed through the hands of numerous invaders, thus its history is unknown until the 10th century.
Between 1069 circa 1154, the church was damaged by a fire, destroyed by the Danes, to finally be repaired and remodeled with a Norman style. The archbishop, Walter de Gray ordered the construction of a Gothic structure to compare to Canterbury. The north and south transepts were built in the Early English Gothic style.
The Chapter House was completed before 1296, the outer roof in the 1330s, and the vaulting was finished in 1360. In 1407 the central tower collapsed and a new tower was built from 1420. The western towers were added between 1433 and 1472. The cathedral was declared complete and consecrated in 1472.
From 1730 to 1736 the whole floor of the Minster was relaid in patterned marble, However an accidental fire in 1840 left the nave, south west tower, and south aisle roofless, blackened shells. Another fire in 1984 destroyed the roof in the south transept, and restoration work was completed in 1988, and included new roof bosses. In 2007 renovation began on the east front, including the Great East Window, at an estimated cost of £23 million.
The present building was begun in about 1230 and completed in 1472, with a cruciform plan and an octagonal chapter house attached to the north transept, a central tower and two towers at the west front. The stone used for the building is magnesian limestone. The Minster is 158 metres long and each of its three towers are 60 metres high. The choir has an interior height of 31 metres. The North and South transepts have simple lancet windows, the most famous being the Five Sisters and the Rose Window commemorates the union of the royal houses of York and Lancaster.
The astronomical clock was installed in the North Transept in 1955. The clock is a memorial to the airmen operating from bases in Yorkshire, Durham, and Northumberland who were killed in action during World War II.

He transferred to Manchester City in the 2009–10 summer transfer window, becoming the first player to move between the two clubs since Terry Cooke in 1999.[4] His energy and goal scoring rate has since made an indispensable player for the club in the eyes of fellow players[5][6] and media[7][8] alike, his importance was marked by promotion to captain at the beginning of the 2010-11 season by manager Roberto Mancini.[9]
His career has been dogged by a long-standing affair with Media Sports Investments, the company which owned the rights of Tévez,[10] and several other players and coaches.[11][12][13][14][15] This eventually resulted in West Ham United being fined over issues regarding third-party ownership.[16][17] He has made over 50 appearances for the Argentina national team, scoring 12 goals.[18]
Early life
Tévez was born Carlos Alberto Martínez in Ciudadela, Buenos Aires, and raised in the neighbourhood of Ejército de Los Andes, better known as "Fuerte Apache". It was from there that he got the nickname of "El Apache".[19] His parents changed his surname to his mother's during a conflict between his junior club All Boys and Boca Juniors.[20]
Tévez has a distinctive burn scar that runs down his neck from his right ear to his chest. He was accidentally scalded with boiling water as a child, which caused third-degree burns and kept him hospitalised in intensive care for nearly two months.[21] After joining Boca Juniors, Tévez refused an offer from the club to have them cosmetically improved, saying that the scars were a part of who he was in the past and who he is today.[

Vorsteiner BMW GTSR3 M3 at SEMA 2010
This you see is the spectacular preparation on a BMW M3 Vorsteiner been made in, denominating GTSR3 Vorsteiner BMW M3. From Vorsteiner already had advanced as images of study, but now when we can see “live” and, indeed, much more impressive.
The cosmetic kit includes most generous defense, a new rear bumper with diffuser, trunk lid with integrated spoiler, a new hood with cooling vents (made in carbon fiber), new tires, exhaust gas system, sports exhaust, made Stainless steel … That is, much “plastic” on all sides, but without compromising on quality, as is customary in Vorsteiner.
Car body kits for primary purposes are used as cosmetic tools for your car, yet they have a potential of implicating a radical change in the appearance of the car. However applying just a body kit and assuming that car modification job has been performed very well is a misconception many armature car modifiers bear. One should always choose a body kit best aligning with the lines of your car.One should always choose a body kit best aligning with the lines of their cars. Kits requiring spray and paint should be properly sprayed or one should be prepared to spend extra bucks once the kit starts to peel off.
One problem faced during a car modification or installing a new body kit is that the colors seldom match with whole car and it is very difficult to find or maintain the right color combination for the car. However good opportunity arises when fitting a new kit, to respray the whole car so to have a suitable color combination.
Some tips regarding front bumper and grill seems to be appropriate here. New bumpers especially the front one lack the physical strength as compared to the standard one so provide less protection against any crash. Similarly new grills, one finds it usually to be very difficult to install when the remaining body kits has been already applied. So when installing grills and vents a person should be very conscious of the order with which he is going to install the body kit or a lot of time will be wasted in fitting and unfitting the kit.
Off the shelf body kits may look attractive in their packing but they rarely compliment the car and most of the time they fail to enhance the look of the car. So the best way is to get your car a new custom body kit from any specialist body shop. But remember when you have opted for yourself to become a car modifier then don't be a miser in spending some extra money on good quality body kits. This hobby sure requires some high investments. Going for cheap, low quality kits would simply mean that you are wasting your money and time. Don't ever be reluctant in spending some money on good ones as well fitted body kits can prove to be real investments which is definitely going to pay off in future in the form of sponsorship contracts and air time at local TV programs.
A good way to ensure that all the parts are fitted in their required order is to read the instruction manual carefully on the packing of the body kits and make sure all the parts provided in the list are present. Just lay down all the parts around the car and hold them against body work in order to make sure for the best fit.
When cutting holes for the exhaust, ensure that you always strive for 1-2cm wider than what actually is required so that you don't have to face any irritation just in case you commit a mistake in measuring the required diameter of the hole. However to measure the hole's diameter, use cardboard template for best results.
Many people love to spray their kits before fitting it to the car. However much better results have been witnessed when the kit is sprayed on the vehicle. Carbon fiber panels are much lighter than an ordinary one and they are best in reducing the overall car weight as well as maintaining the rigidity. Are you fed up of small scratches occurred mostly during the parking? Well again installation of good quality kits seems to be the only remedy for this problem besides being more conscious on the road.
Low skirts beside enhancing the look of your ride also increases the cornering speed but a bad job in fitting them can cause the problems of grounding at bumps as well as drastic effects on the cooling ability of the engine. At the end make sure to check the temperature Gauge to ensure that the car is not heating up quickly because of installation of new body kit. Be careful to fit the kit on stiffer suspension. This will sure have some implications on the usability of the car but it will avoid the problems of grounding of your car because of the new weights of body kits applied to your ride.
