Drogba Injured, Norwich Manager Raged

Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba is currently undergoing a recovery treatment in a hospital after he was involved in a horrible accident during the match with Norwich last night.

During the match which was won by Chelsea 3-1, Drogba had clashed with Norwich’s goalkeeper, John Ruddy.

“We are waiting for the full test result on his concussion and we hope that everything is alright.

Drogba had shown a positive sign and that was a relief to us.

He seemed unconscious after the incident,” said Chelsea’s manager, Andre Villas-Boas.

During the match, goals made by Frank Lampard and Juan Mata had secured Chelsea’s three point win after Grant Holt managed to make the match even after Jose Bosingwa scored to lead the match.

But Norwich’s manager, Paul Lambert was at a lost after claiming that Chelsea’s fitness manager, Jose Mario Rocha attacked the technical area of his team.

“I do not know who he (Rocha) is. But he suddenly came to our area.

“I am not used with the atmosphere in Portugal, but if he knows the Scott’s culture, he would know what I mean.

“He was not supposed to do it as it seemed that he does not respect the opponent,” Lambert explained.

However, Villas-Boas countered the claim made by Lambert by denying it.

“I think it was weird that he claimed that my officer did not respect the opponent.

“Maybe he just wanted to express his emotions at that time. But if Lambert could not accept it, I deeply apologize,” said Villas-Boas. – mynewshub.my
