One of the biggest secrets the Alaskan harbor holds is a huge field of radio antennas called Haarp. The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program aims to turn the upper ionosphere into a powerful antenna.
The navy claims the facility is used for radar and communications purposes, but many believe the installation is a weapons facility within itself. The designs are based off Nikoli Tesla's research, one of the most prominent inventors in the fields of electricity and electro-magnetism who ever lived. Could HAARP be used as a weather manipulating weapon? Jesse Ventura, former Navy SEAL and governor of Minnesota dedicated an entire episode of his new show "Conspiracy Theories" to the issue. I have not seen the episode yet because the show doesn't air until Dec. 2nd, but it should be interesting. Ventura traveled to Gakona Alaska, where he had a standoff with security personnel at the double-gated HAARP facility. The conflict curiously resulted in camera malfunctions right before Ventura tried to enter the facility. He then trekked through the local town and discovered Gakona residents were very hesitant to speak about the facility. Ventura's search finally ended at the door of Doctor Nick Begich, brother to Senator Mark Begich (D-AK) who has written extensively on the HAARP project. The episode ends with Beigich giving demonstrations to Ventura on how to transmit radio waves directly to the brain simply by bypassing the aural canal. From a military standpoint, HAARP is a weapon of mass destruction. Potentially, it constitutes an instrument of conquest capable of selectively destabilizing agricultural and ecological systems of entire regions. While there is no evidence that this deadly technology has been used, surely the United Nations should address the issue. World renowned scientist Dr. Rosalie Bertell confirmed "US military scientists are working on weather systems as a potential weapon. The methods include the enhancing of storms and the diverting of vapor rivers in the Earth's atmosphere to produce targeted droughts or floods." Many scientist describe the facility as a gigantic heater.
