Rep. John Boehner (Texas) discusses carbon tax

House Democrats didn't want the American people to understand the true impact of Speaker Pelosis 1,500-page national energy tax. So, House Republican Leader John Boehner took to the House floor..... and read portions of it to the American people, explaining how it would raise electricity prices, increase gasoline prices, and ship American jobs overseas to countries like China and India. House Democrats didnt much like it either, and they tried to shut him down. But Boehner asked Chairman Henry Waxman (D-CA) and other Democrats: Don't you think the American people expect us to understand whats in the bill before we vote on it?
