Israel attacks Gaza with fighter jets and rockets

Israeli fighter jets attacked supposed "terrorist sites" in Gaza, the military said Sunday.The incident occurred late Saturday night, according to sources.

Close to 20 rockets and mortar shells were fired at Israel last month from Gaza. Israel's military said aircraft's carried out the attacks to destroy two key weapons making factories and a smuggling tunnel which had been used to transport rocket parts. The attacks occurred at a point in Israeli- Hamas relations labeled as a ceasefire. In fact, the two groups had agreed to the ceasefire just days before. The continuing unstable environment in the middle east seems to be a sickness yet to be cured.
