Lou Dobbs, an anchor at CNN for 27 years has resigned from the network. Why did Lou Dobbs actually resign? Several weeks earlier pro Illegal alien amnesty groups began spreading rhetoric about Dobbs trying to get him fired. The group also fomented hatred towards his stance on illegal immigration and Amnesty.
The Southern Poverty Law Center, the Anti Defamation League, Media Matters, and Geraldo Rivera of Fox News had been using information to foment hatred towards Lou Dobbs as well. Several weeks ago gunshots were fired at his house, his wife was threatened, and several threatening phone calls and e-mails surfaced. Dobbs told listeners of "The Lou Dobbs Show" on Monday the incident is part of an ongoing assault against anyone who opposes amnesty or leniency toward illegal immagration.
