Hurricane Greg strengthens as it forms far off Mexico's Pacific coast.
According to a report released on Wednesday by the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami, Hurricane Greg had a maximum sustained winds near 75 mph. It was centered about 280 miles West-Southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico. It's nearly 400 miles South-Southeast off the Southern tip of Baja, California.
No coastal watches or warnings were in effect.
